More Skulls, a Naked Hipster Chick & Some Whatnots
Skull Profile, Perplexed Girl
& Naked Hipster Chick
Maudlin Old Fart, 3 Skulls, a Pinup Pose,
a Butterfly & Part of a Frog Foot
I seem to be going through a new skull style phase, and I must say that I really like it. There should be some new shirt designs featuring this new style up at my almighty Zazzle shop soon. The only other thing in this set of sketchiness that requires special attention is the naked hipster chick—ya' know what? I've changed my mind, there really isn't much to say, she's naked and she's a hipster chick, pretty cut and dried. *Hint: you can tell she's a hipster chick because of the cool retro glasses she is wearing.
-Cheers.

Some Wicked Skulls and a Surly Punk
Partial page from sketchbook; pair of Skulls in my wicked new style.
Partial page from sketchbook; Skull & Surly Fat Punk.
I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm just glad to be finished with my fucking taxes. Just for the record, I don't have a problem with paying my taxes, but I DO have a problem with them being an enormous pain in my ass!
Well, this started out as a post of a neat little seahorse drawing I did. I scanned it and brought it into Photoshop for adjustments when lo and behold, I realized it looked like shit. Seriously—it was awful. So, I grabbed the sketchbook I keep in my car and took a couple scans from that. So, these will just have to do for now, a some wicked skulls, and a surly fat punk.
-Cheers!

Seascape in Walnut Ink
Seascape in Walnut Ink #1
I think I may have mentioned last week that lately I have been working on taxes and other unpleasantries, well things are coming along okay on that front, nevertheless, I am way past due for an excursion to one of my favorite places, the Oregon Coast. Sadly, I don't think it is in the cards, at least not for a little while. Anyway, to help dull the edge of my beach craving I did this serene little seascape with a walnut ink wash. Not perfect, but overall, I'm happy with it, and best of all it takes me on back to where I wish I could be.
Cheers!

Better Late Than Never: Elmo's Birthday
Elmo's Birthday 2009
Hey Kids!
As I mentioned earlier, I've been bogged down with taxes, but I'm finally getting a handle on that situation, and I'm itchin' to move on with some new plans. Anyway, my friend, Elmo is turning 49 in about 3½ hours, well, actually I guess it will be in 2½ hours, since he is in a different time zone, but soon nonetheless. The point is that this is his birthday card, and I just put it in the mailbox, so it probably wont get there in time for his actual birthday. You see, I made some mistakes that I couldn't correct, so I had to start over, and there you have it. By the way, Elmo is probably expecting a joke about his tiny wiener, or adult diapers, or something of that nature, but sometimes I like to keep him on his toes, and go with the unexpected. Besides, he's old enough now that he can make his own jokes about his Wee Willy Winky. And, just for the record, there is no particular reason for the guy in the funny little space suit, that's just what came out of my head.
Happy Birthday Elmo, your card will be there soon.

Waylaid By Taxes
I don't want anyone to think I've forgotten to post, it's just that I have been waylaid by the obligation to get my wretched taxes filed and all the headaches that are implied with that whole thing—and yes, I know, taxes are the price of living in a civilized society.
I'll have something for your viewing pleasure soon.
-Cheers.
